As the Soke (Grandmaster) of Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai, I would like to welcome all of our members to our website including those of you seeking information about us. We are a traditional martial arts group that teach the traditions of karate. Our style differs in many respects from most other styles in that we focus on kata (forms) training and teach self-defense applications for all techniques in every kata. We also work to develop extreme focus in our techniques.

For those seeking membership in a traditional martial arts association, we hope you will look over our site and apply to join. We seek members, clubs and associations with similar Okinawa/Japanese roots and can provide you with legitimate registration in karate if you meet our qualifications. In addition to our core style of Seiyo Shorin-Ryu, we are expanding to include any traditional style with Okinawan roots under our larger association of the World Federation of Traditional Karate & Kobudo.
